"Flowing Clouds by the Ears" uses ceramics as paper and glaze as ink to explore the poetry of the ears in Chinese aesthetics. The studio follows the thousand-year-old porcelain making technique, combining traditional underglaze painting with modern accessories, blending and rebirth in the 1300℃ kiln fire. The picture is inspired by traditional Chinese freehand brushwork, interpreting the oriental aesthetic conception with the warm texture of ceramics, making the swaying glaze color by the ear a miniature ink theater for the wearer. When ancient techniques collide with contemporary design, ceramics are no longer limited to the shape of utensils, but are presented by the ears in the form of accessories, allowing the unique oriental beauty to bloom.

Production Process:

Step 1. Preparation of clay Select jade clay with good lightness and light texture, such as jade, from among many clay materials. After carving the shape, grinding, bisque firing, and grinding again, the preliminary preparation work is completed;

Step 2. Drawing preparation Use a thinner pencil to outline the general decoration on the surface of the bisque, and then use high-temperature pigments to draw;

Step 3. Firing preparation The painted clay pieces need to be carefully cleaned, dipped in glaze or brushed with glaze, and then placed in a kiln at about 1200 degrees Celsius to be fired into porcelain;

Step 4. Assembly.
