I’ve been creating since I was little—I’ve always loved drawing and making handmade crafts. This passion eventually led me to become a designer. However, after working in the industry for a few years, I experienced burnout and felt disconnected from my creativity. Last year, I took a step back to focus on my illustrations, rediscovering the joy of creating. Now, I feel more inspired than ever and truly love what I do.

When did you start creating? Was there a specific moment or inspiration that led you to it?

I’ve always been a cat lover, and spending time with my cats brings me so much happiness. Whether they’re being cute and affectionate or playful and mischievous, every moment with them feels special. Their presence is incredibly healing, and I wanted to capture and share these little joys. That’s when I started creating cat-themed animations, illustrations, and videos for social media. Through my art, I hope to connect with others, share heartwarming moments, and bring a sense of joy and comfort to people.

What emotions, messages, or themes do you hope to convey through your work?

Through my art, I want to capture the warmth, joy, and humor that cats bring into our lives. My designs are playful, heartfelt, and sometimes a little mischievous—just like cats! I hope to create a sense of connection, whether it’s through a relatable cat moment or a thoughtful greeting card that brings a smile. More than anything, I want my work to feel like a little happiness in someone’s day.

What materials, tools, or techniques do you use, and why did you choose them? 

I primarily use my iPad and Procreate for illustrations, while Photoshop and After Effects help bring my animations to life. For my handmade greeting cards and stickers, I create everything myself at home as a small business owner. Each piece is slightly unique, which I think adds to the charm and warmth of handmade creations. There’s something special about knowing that every item is crafted with care and a personal touch.

What was the biggest challenge you faced in your creative journey, and how did you overcome it?

The creative journey is full of challenges! Coming up with new ideas is always difficult, and marketing my work has been just as tricky. I’m still learning and figuring things out, but I see it as part of the process. What keeps me going is the support from my customers—it truly means the world to me! Every kind word and purchase encourage me to keep creating and improving.

Do you remember your first sale? How did it feel?

Yes! It was an incredible moment. I honestly didn’t expect it, and when it happened, I felt so happy and excited! Knowing that someone liked my work enough to buy it was such a huge confidence boost. It reassured me that I was on the right path and gave me even more motivation to keep creating. I’ll always be grateful for that first customer! 

Has a customer ever shared a special story or reason for purchasing your work?

Not yet, but I would absolutely love to hear more from my customers! Every interaction means a lot to me, and it would be amazing to learn how my work resonates with people. If you have a story to share, I’d love to hear it!

Is there a particular piece or product that customers seem to love the most? What makes it special?

Stickers have been really popular! They’re affordable, easy to use, and a fun way for people to add a bit of personality to their everyday items. I love that they can brighten up laptops, notebooks, or even phone cases—bringing a little piece of my art into someone’s daily life in a simple yet meaningful way.

What are your future plans? What do you hope to achieve through your creative business?

I plan to keep creating and growing my collection of whimsical, cat-inspired designs! In the future, I’d love to participate in art markets, giving people a chance to see my work in person and connect with me directly.
