A sculptural chopstick rest that doubles as an organizer for pens, makeup brushes, or other small tools. The fluid, undulating surface not only cradles objects securely but also adds a dynamic visual texture to any space.
Design Concept
In 3D printing, extruded layers are often seen as an inherent inaccuracy. However, this series exaggerates and transforms this “disadvantage” into a unique attribute by distorting layers to create a fluid texture. By rewriting G-code, the design breaks through the traditional 2.5D limitations, allowing the printer to move freely in 3D space.
